Principal Patti Jewell

To the Butterfield Ranch Community,

It is with a great deal of enthusiasm that I come to Butterfield Ranch as your new Principal!  I have been employed in the Chino Valley Unified School District for the past 18 years as a substitute, a teacher, an education specialist and an assistant principal.  My first teaching assignment was here at Butterfield and I consider it a privilege to return to the Ranch and once again serve the students and families of the Butterfield Community!   In addition to working in the district, my husband and I have raised two amazing sons. They have both finished college with Master’s degrees.  Our eldest son is married to a wonderful young lady and they have two children.

I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin the 2016-2017 school year together.  I highly value being a part of your children’s educational journey as we prepare all of our Rough Riders for college and the 21st century workplace.   The teachers and staff throughout CVUSD have been working tirelessly to implement the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in English Language Arts and Math.  In addition, the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) will be coming soon!

I thank you in advance for the support you give your children by helping them with their academics at home and supporting our school.   I know you too work tirelessly on behalf of your children’s education. It does not go unnoticed and it is greatly appreciated.   I encourage you to become involved in our school in any way you can!

Finally, it is important that you know my door is always open to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your child’s experience at Butterfield Ranch or any suggestions you have regarding our school in general.  Please feel free to contact meat any time.

"When you do a thing, do it with all your might.  Put your whole soul into it.  Stamp it with your personality.  Nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sincerely,

Mrs. Jewell
